Of course, you need to learn to handle these all new softwares and new digital possibilities. But, FIRST OF ALL, you have to know how to draw the old fashion. Drawing by pencil forces mind to visualize your project and, most important, once you can draw by your fingers and by your pen, drawing by softwares is MUCH EASIER, and prevents mistakes. Just think of music: best synthesizers players and programmers are classically traned pianist. I disagree with Michael Powell.
Of course, you need to learn to handle these all new softwares and new digital possibilities. But, FIRST OF ALL, you have to know how to draw the old fashion.
